Troy Reinhart, Partner
Troy Reinhart grew up in Bend and earned his Bachelor degree and did Masters Studies at Oregon State University (Economics and Forestry).  He then spent nearly 20 years managing manufacturing facilities for Louisiana Pacific and Fortune Brands Corporations along with a stint as a lobbyist in Washington, D.C. where he met his wife, Adrienne, the mother of their three young children.

After living and working in Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Mississippi, Nebraska and Indiana, the Reinhart’s decided to return to Bend and put down roots. Troy’s varied experiences gives him a unique insight that clients, particularly entrepreneurs and employers, find of real value.  His young family makes him especially empathetic to clients who are simultaneously trying to juggle the tasks of acquiring homes, raising children and funding both education and retirement needs.  He acts as 401(k) advisor for several large firms holding investment and financial education meetings for their employees on a regular basis.  Give Troy a call for any questions you may have.  By the way, Troy began investing through our firm at age 18 and has continued the systematic accumulation of wealth.  He understands the importance of time in any worthwhile endeavor.

Tyler Simones, Partner
Tyler Simones grew up in New Hampshire, ski racing across New England.  He attended the University of Maine at Farmington, where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Economics.  His career path was set when he read about Warren Buffet in the Rodger Lowenstein book, "The Making of an American Capitalist," and was forever hooked on the art of building and managing wealth.  After graduating, Tyler began his career in the investment business with Pioneer Investments in Boston, MA.

He has since lived and worked in Nebraska, Louisiana, California, and Oregon, working mainly on the institutional side of the investment business.  He now looks forward to working directly with clients, helping achieve their long-term financial goals together. When not in the office, Tyler can be found with his nose in a book or investment report, or out on the golf course.  Tyler's wife, Catherina, graciously endured the many moves around the country, always hoping they would eventually settle closer to family in the Pacific NW.  They are excited to be making Bend their new home, and to raise their two young children in the beautiful Northwest.

James Miller, San Rafael, California Office
James Miller grew up in Coulee Dam Washington and earned his degree in Finance and Economics from Brigham Young University. After graduating, and dealing with large amounts of snow, James moved to the San Francisco bay area in 1991 and began his career as an investment advisor. He loves the climate of the bay area but still manages to fly to his favorite ski slopes as often as he can. James enjoys working with individuals and coming up with solutions to succeed in this complex world. His main philosophy he has developed over the years is, that you have to be flexible and willing to move. Most people find it hard to change investments or direction when they should, instead they stay where they are and ride their investments like a roller coaster until they can’t take it any more and get off the ride, often too late.

James enjoys the time he spends with his lovely wife and two children, and looks forward to the time he no longer has to change any diapers.

Kari is native to the northwest and enjoys and loves the view of our beautiful Cascade Range.  Spending time in the mountains, whether it be summer or winter, is her favorite pastime, but she also loves  watching the waves collide with the shore on our Oregon Coast line.  She also adores being an auntie, collecting heart shaped rocks, and curling up with a good book. Her warmth and smile will welcome you either in person or over the phone, but she might catch you off guard with her enthusiasm and sense of humor.
